Everyone needs cash fast. With a world going a hundred miles per hour today, everyone is looking for the easiest and fastest ways to make money. Before I got a job I was always looking for ways to make a little extra money of my own. So I have complied a list of ways to earn a little extra cash. Leave your tips and tricks in the comments below letting me know if you use these ideas or have some of your own! 😉
Most of my friends have heard me talk about this once or twice before but, it’s because I 100% back this up. I have been using this site since mid-July and have earned about $20. Now, that isn’t a lot of money but, #1 this would be EXTRA cash and #2 it all depends on how willing you are to work at it. For example, my brother has been using the site for about 3 months and has earned $60. Now that’s a HUGE difference.
As I stated I have gained $20 from the site and have already received two gift cards for Amazon (worth $5 each) and two Starbucks gift cards (worth $5 each). With this site, you DO NOT get cash but, instead you get your SB (swagbucks) in gift cards. 100SB is the equivalent to $1 and you can redeem your SB after you have earned at least 300SB. Now, if you’re wondering, “What is Swagbucks?” the simplest answer is that it is an online website that allows you to make money taking surveys, watching news or other advertisements, or getting money back if you buy online.
The site offers a variety of different stores that you can use yourhard-earned, extra money for. If you’re not looking to spend the money, you can also donate the money to help good causes like the Wounded Warrior Project, Hurricane Harvey, and many more. Lastly, you are also available to use your SB to bid in exclusive sweepstakes! If you are interested click the link above or here and sign up today to start earning money!

2. Sell Your Clothes
There are a few ways to do this. First, you can create an Instagram or Facebook page with pictures of your clothes you want to sell. Make sure to leave descriptions and details about the clothes so, viewers can get a better idea about the size, condition, and price. You can also take pictures of the tags to show the brand and size.
If you’re not up for selling on social media you can also take your clothes to special stores that purchase the clothes from you. For example, Plato’s Closet buys all types of clothes that you may bring in depending on the season and styles/trends for that year. The downside, usually, is that the stores ask for a much lower price than what you originally paid for it. When I went to give my knee-high boots away, which were $40. They offered me $5. Now, you do have the ability to decline their offers and if you happen to do so and are stuck in a rut, look onto the next option (#3).

3. Ask Your Friends
If you ever have stickers, or books, or really anything that you can think of to sell, you can always ask your family and friends if they would want to buy it. Of course, you can also give it away as a gag gift or just give it away for free. But, you should remember that the people closest to you are always the ones to support you.
When I cam back from France I found things that I really didn’t need anymore or never used. So, I decided to get rid of it. I first researched the products on Ebay to see what other people were selling the same items for. This helps when you don’t know what price to price your items. Second, I asked around and, of course, used social media to promote the things I was selling. Any time you want to advertise, utilize your social media outlets!!! This is KEY to earning extra cash because you get more attention.

4. Brand Deals/ Brand Ambassador/ Representative
If you finished reading #3, you know that I mentioned social media and how important it is to build your network. Now this tip is more if you want to support brands you love or items that you think are worth acknowledging people about. If you have a decent following or even a good amount of friends and family you can start looking into companies and asking them if you can spread their message. Sometimes they give you a discount code that
your family and friends can use. This is where the social media outlets come into play. Usually, the companies will give you a cut of the sales you make. Let’s say that you get a 5% commission on the items you sell. If three people buy an item from the store for, say, $10. Then 3 x 10 = $30 that the company has made from your marketing. From that you would be able to make about $1.50.
It’s always a good idea to join companies or represent companies that you love and honestly would buy items from. Being honest with your followers, family, and friends can only benefit you and what you make.

5. Save Money
Lastly, one of the hardest, easiest, and most noteworthy, is SAVING MONEY. Most of you out there know that if you put money in a bank there is always interest on that set amount. But, most people may not think of it as a way to earn money because it is slowly growing and you may put it to the back of your mind. If you create a financial plan where you set an amount that you can’t exceed over a certain time limit and then place extra money in the bank, you will actually be making money back.
Overall, you HAVE to think about all the little things. Starbucks, candy, movie night, all these things add up quick and if you don’t pay attention you what your spending it will one day come out from underneath you.
